History

Launched in 2013 by Rocket Internet, Lamudi.co.id has quickly become the leading real estate marketplace in Indonesia reaching over 6,000 agents and by partering with over 100 developers in the country. 

In 2020, the website was acquired by the conglomerate Emerging Markets Property Group (EMPG) which helped to consodilated Lamudis' dominant position providing its users with comprehensive solutions to market, buy, rent sell and finance properties in the country.

In 2023, Lamudi.com.ph was acquired by Digital Classifeds Group (DCG) entering its portfolio of leading real estate marketplaces in Asia Pacific.

Market

Indonesia has 276 million people, with a total GDP of USD $1.18 trillion and a strong average GDP growth of 5% (2023). The country is 58% urbanised with the balance of the population living in rural areas.

There are over 353 million active mobile connections in Indonesia (128% of the population), with 212 million active internet users (77% of the population) and 167 million active social media users (60% of the population). Active internet users are growing at 5.2% per annum.
