History (tok pisin (the native language of Papua New Guinea) for ‘House Place’) was established by DCG in late 2013 as a provider of real estate websites, social media integration and customer relationship management systems (CRM) to real estate agents in Papua New Guinea.

DCG pursued this strategy with a clear view to digitising real estate listing data and building deep relationships with real estate agents as a precursor to launching a real estate portal.

In March 2014 the real estate portal was launched and quickly became the leading online real estate marketplace in Papua New Guinea. acts as an aggregator for the online marketing of properties for sale and rent on behalf of real estate agents countrywide. The company’s clients include the major real estate groups in Papua New Guinea including Century 21 Siule, L.J Hooker, Strickland Real Estate, DAC Real Estate and Pacific Palms Property.


Papua New Guinea has 10 million people, with a total GDP of USD $31 billion and an average GDP growth of 3% (2023). The country is 14% urbanised, and this urbanisation is accelerating rapidly as people move from the provinces to the National Capital District hosting the main city: Port Moresby.

There are over 3.7 million active mobile connections in Papua New Guinea (36% of the population), with 3.3 million active internet users (36% of the population) and 873 thousand active social media users (8.5% of the population). Active internet users are growing at 2% per annum with this number expected to accelerate rapidly in line with the cost descreases of internet connection, the rollout of the broadband and increased connectity needs.

Interesting to note, Papua New Guinea has a chronic undersupply of housing which the government is currently addressing via a range of initiatives, including a first homeownership loan scheme, land rezoning and accelerating new development approvals which position as the strongest partner for such initiatives.
